As you keep on blogging, you will notice links which is pointing
different site and your visitor may not know how to get back to where
he/she was before clicking on the link.
You have to make the links open in a new tab/window.
Am going to explain how you can make links to your site open in the same tab and links to other sites open in a different tab.
Login to your Dashboard
Go to Design
Click on Edit HTML
Back up
Ctrl+f
Type <head> inside the box as shown in the image below
The tag will be highlighted as you can see from the image below.
Put your mouse after the tag and paste this code <base target='_blank' /> This code will open all link in a new tab. If you want link to your posts to open in the same tab then replace "blank" in the code above with "self" That is <base target='_blank' />
NOTE: do not change the quote just the word.
Save your template and view your blog
